Our two youngest boys, aged 3 and 5, share the smallest bedroom in our house...not by choice, but by necessity. I struggled for a long time with deciding upon a theme for their room decor...cowboys...robots...knights and dragons and the like. I love to find really cute sheets for their twin beds but there are so many cute ones out there, that I couldn't decide on one resounding theme. What to do? Use them all! I decided to go with primary colors in their room--colors that match ALL the cute sheets that I had for them. I found a really cute piece of canvas wall art at Target that had LOTS of my favorite things depicted throughout an alphabet theme...robots, pirates, sports, aircraft and much more AND it's educational! How I could I resist? This focal point pulls all the themes that I use with their bedding together and doesn't look out of place. Auburn University sheets today, Batman sheets next week and Curious George sheets the next. And did I mention that they love the changes each week? We change our clothes everyday (on good days!) why not change our bedding with each wash day and have a little fun in the mean time?
